Kohesia Ensemble represents the the new project of Perth bassist and composer Kate Pass.This unique ensemble serves as a platform for Kate's original compositions influenced by her passion for both jazz and Persian music. Inspired by artists such as Amir ElSaffar, Dhafer Youssef and Avishai Cohen, the Kohesia Ensemble bridges the gap between East and West, exploring elements of Persian and Middle Eastern music in a jazz context.
